In case you guys haven’t heard the news yet, Fortinet has released the FortiGate 6040E. This is a pretty handy firewall that helps Enterprise organizations achieve the level of UTM/NGFW functionality they need without having to spend obscene amounts of money on hardware capable.

Do you have the available options for Fortigate 2000E or 2500E?

The 2000E and 2500E do not have options like the 6040E due to it being a single unit (not a chassis unit like the 6040E). I have managed to find the following video though that covers some of it’s hardware and specifications.FortiGate 2000E Series Firewalls. I will be making a post about every available FortiGate in the next week that will cover data sheet on each and suggested recommendations for deployment.
