Taking NSE5 Soon

I’m not one to be all about the certifications of the world, at least when it comes to Vendors, but I have held on to my FCNSP (Fortinet Certified Network Security Professional) grandfathered in NSE4 (Fortinet Network Security Expert) for long enough. I have run through the Partner NSE5 training (the training is actually really good in the Learning Center so if you are a partner check it out). I am hoping to test within the next 30 days while I polish up some skills.

I am told that if you can pass the quizzes on the NSE5 training you should be able to pass the test with relative ease. I hope so, because my interests have moved more to the NSE6 hardware etc.

About Mike

Michael Pruett, CISSP has a wide range of cyber-security and network engineering expertise. The plethora of vendors that resell hardware but have zero engineering knowledge resulting in the wrong hardware or configuration being deployed is a major pet peeve of Michael's. This site was started in an effort to spread information while providing the option of quality consulting services at a much lower price than Fortinet Professional Services. Owns PacketLlama.Com (Fortinet Hardware Sales) and Office Of The CISO, LLC (Cybersecurity consulting firm).
